Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential (LEAP) is a non-profit working to help persons with disabilities to thrive. We are seeking an accountant to work with us part-time, with a goal to grow to full-time within a year. This position will support the mission of LEAP to advance a society of equal opportunity for all persons, regardless of disability.
This position assists with accounting activities including:
- general ledger preparation,
- accounts receivable billings and accounts payables,
- bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Interested persons should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 0-2 years of accounting experience or equal relevant experience, be proficient with excel and QuickBooks, and be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Hours per week will be determined by agency need, with a range of 25-30 hours per week initially, with the intention of transitioning to 40 hours per week by the end of the year. Benefits eligible at 25 hours. Pay is commensurate with experience.
