Managing Director, Business Engagement
Be part of the team that helps businesses give back strategically in Northeast Ohio while strengthening the nonprofit community!
This position will be responsible for leading BVU’s Business Engagement Team to maintain and grow BVU business memberships throughout Northeast Ohio.
Membership in BVU can help a business tailor and elevate its approach to meeting strategic goals and employee engagement. You will work with your team to listen to the needs of businesses and determine priorities to design community engagement solutions. This can include finding employees the right nonprofit board to serve on, setting up meaningful team volunteer projects, or engaging employees in Skills-Based Volunteering opportunities where they can share their specialized skills and talents to support a nonprofit.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of leading a successful sales team and meeting strategic goals.

Fellows help nonprofits build capacity, grow strategically and ultimately, have a broader impact on the community. Here’s How It Works.
Step 1: Identify the Need
With guidance from BVU, the nonprofit will identify and outline the strategic project and skills required. The nonprofit will complete a project request form.
Step 2: Recruitment
BVU will recruit, screen and interview candidates to learn more about their background, skills and fit for the project.
Step 3: Selection
The nonprofit will interview candidates from BVU and make their selection.
Step 4: Engagement
BVU will bring together the nonprofit and candidate to review project details and finalize the engagement.
